  1. I was told executions were held there too. It was extraordinary to me that the place had such a soothing, peaceful vibe, but all accounts it should have been full of ghosts, but if it was they seemed friendly ones and not lost souls. Lovely shot. It was so grey and raining when I went. In your photo it looks even more peaceful.

    • Hi Linda: I was told that too, but my friends who live in Barcelona told me that wasn’t true. And when I started looking at the pockmarks n the limestone wall, indeed they did not look like they resulted from bullets, so I left that out of the story.
