Chicago’s House of Blues celebrates African American contributions to music and art

The Jane Addams Hull-House Museum is a monument to social reformer Jane Addams, who worked tirelessly to better the lives of immigrants in Chicago, beginning in 1889

The James R. Thompson Center in downtown Chicago houses offices of the Illinois state government. The sculpture in front of it is titled “Monument With Standing Beast.”
