Unfortunately this week this window together with the Maltese Islands have been battered by very strong freezing North Westerly winds and unfortunately another bit of this Maltese landmark went tumbling in the sea. Unfortunately this beautiful natural sight has its days counted. Measures are being taken so that nobody walks over it and as can be seen from a posted video some stupid tourist enjoyed jumping from its height bringing down after him a sizable bit of rock. I read the description of the dirt left behind by visitors on Comino. It is surely disappointing but every one has to take care. Locals and visitors. We have to leave this heritage and beauty to our children and their children.
That’s so sad, Anthony – sorry to hear it.
