I agree totally, Rhonda. My first exposure to the barbarity of gladiator and animal fights was at the Colosseum in Rome. The signage there spared no detail and it made my flesh crawl, so now whenever I see a site like this where gladiators fought or slaves were thrown to the lions, I have the same reaction – absolutely creepy.
