Gorgeous. The pubic bus ride to Amalfi is so fun, in a scary way.
Hi Charles. Never really thought about it, but it might well be scary for anyone who is afraid of heights, due to the sheer drop-offs at the edge of the road.
I enjoy your blog very much, Barbara. Just had to comment on this one. It brought back so many beautiful memories of my all too brief time there a few years ago with my daughter–the views, the lemon gelato, the tasty, fresh food and, especially, that skilled young bus driver! Ahh, Amalfi!
Hi Charlotte. Thanks so much for your comment. I know how busy everyone is and I’m grateful that people even take time to read my stories and look at my photos, much less leave a comment! And your words were a huge compliment. If I can bring back memories so strongly, I’ve done a good job.
OMG – I want to hop on a plane right now. Everything looks delicious in your Amalfi coast pictures – the food, the view, the people….how fortunate you are to experience all this beauty.
Hi Wendy. I highly recommend this part of Italy. So much to see and do, plus Pompeii and Herculaneum are nearby and accessible by train. You just can’t go wrong.
I love this view. Just stunning. Somehow we went through Italy too quickly and missed the Amalfi coast.
I wanted to go for years before I finally made it. Now I’m wondering why I waited so long.
Two years ago, we spent a few days in Ravello and Amalfi and loved it! I’d love to go back in a heartbeat! 🙂
Ah, I missed Ravello Joy. There is so much to see and do in Italy one could spend a lifetime traveling around and still not see it all.
