Not only is the Temple of Isis in Pompeii one of the best preserved buildings in the ancient city, it provides proof positive that the city had ties to Egypt, as it was used by members of the cult of the Egyptian goddess Isis.

Nice information shared. Is there is some specific reason to visit the place?
Well, Pompeii is one of the best preserved ruins in the world, which I think is a good enough reason.
I love to visit this temple. Great.
That there was a connection between Rome and Egypt has never been in doubt. Egypt was under Roman domination to a large degree already before finally being taken over outright by Caesar Augustus after having defeated Antony and Cleopatra. Classical historians have hardly been in want of any positive proof from Pompeii to confirm that fact. It’s likely that this temple was built by Romans for Romans. The cult of Isis, while indeed of Egyptian origin, had already been firmly established in Rome by the first century CE. The temple in Pompeii is certainly no breakthrough confirmation. Temples to Isis were quite ordinary in Rome by this time.
Obviously, captain obvious
