Serene scene at Lost Gardens of Heligan as spring arrives in Cornwall, England

Click on above photo to view it in large format: As spring approaches, buds break out on trees and flowering bushes burst into a riot of white and magenta blooms at The Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall, England. When World War II took all the men from this part of England, these gardens, which were the property of a private mansion, could no longer tended. They fell into decay and finally were abandoned, until they were rediscovered some few years ago and restored.
