I think all of these ice type of places are really neat. However, I do not think I could ever sleep a whole night. I have a super hard time sleeping if I am cold and my mind would not be able to relax on the ice idea (warm sleeping bags or not) 🙁
Hi Alicia-Joy. I’m with you.People have told me that the sleeping bags they are given kept them toasty warm, but at the very least I’d have to get up in the middle of the night to use the toilet, and then I’d be freezing. Nope, this is not for me.
Wow, you have gotten some great pictures from Norway, and you have seen so much. Have taken Hurtigruta from Bergen to Trondhein before but I really want to take it from Kirkenes to Tromsø as well. Love you pictures.

Oh this is awesome. I’ve always wanted to stay in an ice hotel! I don’t cope very well with the cold so the bed better be damn cosy!
I hear that they give you really warm sleeping bags to keep out the cold Tracey!

Thanks so much MS Travel Tipsy. It’s amazing I got so many good ones, because I really struggled with seasickness. I just don’t have any sea legs.
