Hello Barbara,
Is the church open for service?
Did the Calvinists originated in Hungary? and lastly, What was/is there history, traditions, and philosophy ?
Anyway, I congratulate you for capturing the beauty of the architecture, landscaping, people, Cities, structures old and new. I
hope that you will continue to enjoy your tour and I would like thank you for sharing the beauty observed in your photographs which are
innate from vision.
Hi Bolivar: Yes, the church is open for service.I really did not delve into the history of the Calvinists while I was there, but I am going to be doing some research in preparation for a post about Debrecen, so just watch for that – coming soon.
Thanks Jennifer. Interestingly, the interior of the church was almost colorless, just white walls and brown wood, which I understand is quite normal in Calvinist churches.
Looks great around all those browner buildings. I wonder what the mini glass pyramid represents?
If I recall correctly, Mark, it was a viewpoint down to Roman ruins.
