After years of working at jobs that paid the bills but brought no joy, I felt like a "hole in the donut" - solid on the outside, but empty on the inside. In 2007, I decided to pursue my true passions of travel, writing, and photography. Find out how I changed my life HERE
PHOTO: England’s Stonehenge, Shown From the Heelstone, With the “Slaughter Stone” in the Foreground
Hi Barb. I love Stonehenge. It has an aura of mystery around it. It is a magical feeling.
I did a photo essay on graffiti and I thought it was so artistic, but I heard that there is even graffiti on the rocks at Stonehenge now.
Not artistic….
Hi Try New Things: There was, indeed, graffiti on the Stonehenge rocks, which is likely one of the reasons why the masses are no longer allowed close to the stones. The graffiti has been cleaned up now, but I believe I read that it is still visible because a variety of lichen began to grow where the graffiti was removed.
I am typingn up an article on Stone Henge for a newsletter I am doing for the daycentre where I work.
