  1. I could sit / (have sat) among ruins all day and never get tired.  Sometimes waiting for the right shade line or sun beam to strike for the most drama doesn’t happen and requires another visit.  If it should have been a morning shot and you just arrived at noon, damn.  Or the sunset shot and you just arrived at noon, it’s either a come back or a long wait.  Such is the life of the photographer, the obsessed photographer.  Sometimes it consumes me.  If you’re traveling with others and they aren’t into “The Shot” as much as you, then it’s compromise time.  If you’re a solo traveler, it’s up to you; shall I stay or do I go?  If you’re a vacation tourist, you’ll go.  If you’re a long term traveler, you’ll linger, or not.
