Barbara Weibel’s Cultural Travel

Barbara Weibel After years of working 70 hours a week at jobs that paid the bills but brought no joy, I felt like the proverbial "hole in the donut" - solid on the outside, but empty on the inside. In early 2007, searching for meaning in my life, I set out to pursue my true passions of travel, writing, and photography. My stories feature the destinations I visit and the people I meet, with an emphasis on cultural travel and traveling in a manner that benefits and deeply interacts with locals. What a great view..thanks so much for sharing..My daughter and I will be in Paris Oct 1st thru the 5th and want to see everything you have been posting from Paris. We want to go to the Almalfi Coast of Italy right after that and stay 5 days in a villa that my Daughter friend owns. Any sightseeing suggestions?
I love to write about my adventures but cannot take photos

Hi Jackie: Thanks so much for reading along. This week I’ll begin writing about my six weeks of travel around France, so if you see all my posts you’ll get lots of tips from those stories. Even though I spent two weeks in Paris, I didn’t get to Monet’s Gardens or inside the Pompidou Museum, both of which I really would like to have done. One day each month (maybe the first Monday???) all the museums are free, so check into that because it can save you a lot of money. Afraid I can’t be of help with the Amalfi coast because I haven’t been there (on my list, though).
