All of the websites I visit report that Hull House was founded in 1889. What I can’t find is the date of the building which houses the Hull House Museum.
I attended the U.of Illinois in Chicago in the 1970s and recall reading at that time that the building was dated to about 1856. Can anyone provide a reference to the date of the Museum building?
Thank you.
