Hello,
Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos of Russia. Have you got any photos of Kizhy Isaland?
many thanks,
Vera
Thanks Vera: Yes, I published one from Kizhi on this article: https://holeinthedonut.com/2014/12/09/russian-churches-symbol-of-russia. You haven’t said why you want to see it, but please keep in mind that my photos are copyrighted and may not be used without permission, and may not be used under any circumstances for commercial purposes.
Russia is definitely on my travel bucket list! I just love the architecture there. Thank you for sharing the photo, Barbara.
You’re very welcome, Rebekah. Hope you make it there soon, especially since the Rouble has fallen so far; it’s a great value to travel there these days.
I really wish I had explored more of Russia, and gotten outside of Moscow. This church is so interesting and colorful. Thanks for sharing it.
Hi Rhonda: Of all the destinations I visited in Russia, Moscow was the least interesting. The rural towns were the most fascinating to me, and St. Petersburg is a beautiful city.
The Orthodox churches in Russia are such photogenic subjects … definitely a highlight of visiting the country!
Absolutely, Ian! I’m so grateful to have seen them.
