One of the iconic scenes at Tregothnan Historic Gardens is the Rhododendron Tunnel, which leads to Tregothnan Castle, a private estate that is home to the largest historic gardens in Cornwall. The Boscawen family, who still reside full-time at the estate, allow a limited number of visitors to experience the gardens first-hand each year, with a private garden visit led by a member of their team.
Lovely spring scene – those vines must be ancient!
Hi Carol: Hard to say how old the vines are, although I suspect you are correct, since Tregothnan has been around since the 14th century.
Nice photo from England’s green and pleasant land.
Thanks Mach
