I was fascinated by what a pocket of normalcy La Ronda seemed like, considering the neighborhoods nearby at night but still was wonderful to explore this area.
Couldn’t agree more, Anil. La Ronda was two blocks of serenity and beautifully redone houses/stores, but I was continually warned by the security officers stationed up and down the street not to wander past the arches at either end, because beyond them the neighborhoods were dangerous.
