Last week I was one of only 25 bloggers invited to submit a story about my most humorous travel experience to the website of the French government tourist office. Once the stories are posted, the public is invited to read them and vote for their favorite. Voting automatically registers participants for a chance to win a seven night stay for two at the 4 star deluxe Sofitel Bakoua on the exotic, tropical French island of Martinique. The author of the story that garners the most votes will win a seven night stay at the Sofitel, as well.
French Martinique in the Caribbean
The stories were posted to the website recently and already, one of them has 127 votes. Another has 10. A third story has six votes and a smattering of the others have one or two votes. The rest – including my story – have no votes yet. I think the guy with the 127 votes has a LOT of loyal friends. So, I put it out there to you, my loyal readers and treasured friends. Are you going to let this guy with the 127 votes win the competition without a fight? Or will you check out the stories and vote for your favorite? Now, I’m not asking you to pick mine as your favorite, but in the event that you want to vote for mine, it’s titled “The Power of Suggestion.” What do you have to lose? At the very least you’ll have a chance to win a seven night stay at a fabulous Caribbean resort.
(Only one vote per person, participants must be 18 years of age and live in the U.S. Prize does not include airfare, other transportation, or meals, other than a daily continental breakfast at the resort).
