  1. Lovely photos, certainly the pics of Balaton and the Hungarian Parliament bldgs., almost makes me want to go back. I was born there, escaped on foot thru the woods to Austria. Did you ever see the bronze monument of the shoes on the banks of the Danube?

  2. Budapest is my favorite European city, but we haven’t really been anywhere else in Hungary despite always driving there. Your pictures are really making me want to go explore more there!

    • Jennifer, I loved every bit of Hungary. Budapest was wonderful but there’s so much more to discover than just the capital city. Hope you get to return and explore further afield in the future.

  3. When you say “can be rocked” does that mean when you stand on it, you can rock back and forth. If so, I think that would freak me out a bit to much to give it a try. Of course my girls would be jumping up on and down on it, really putting it to the test 🙂
