Everytime I see the remarkable European ceiling frescoes, I imagine the poor artist staring skyward painting the image. How do they keep perspective of what they are painting? Do they do it lying down or standing up and leaning back?

I have the same thoughts, Mark. I cannot imagine spending years painting with my neck bent backwards. Quite an accomplishment.
