My blog features stories about the destinations I visit, people I meet, the crazy things...Read more here....
Barbara, a great balance of foreground/ distance lighting. And a good placement of the laser too! I’ve been to the top a couple times over the years and it never gets old. However, the last time was so windy that I had to hold on to something/anything to keep from being blown over. And cold? I only lasted 10 or 15 minutes. But I’ll certainly do it again if and when Paris is on my list!
Thank you Keith. Hearing this is a very heartwarming way to begin my New Year. What I do is not easy and I sometimes wonder if I can keep ding it for much longer, but then I get a comment like yours and it reenergizes me.
Thanks for the view. We’ve been to Paris 4 times and have still yet to go up the Eiffel Tower. Terrible isn’t it? We really need to make a point of it next time. Love the blue laser capture. Happy New Year!

I am afraid of heights – although hot air balloons, planes, helicopters and Zeppelins don’t bother me. I will NOT be climbing to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Thank you for sharing what it is like at the top.

Glad you can see it vicariously through my eyes, Nancy!

Hi Dylan: I use a Canon T3i, but put more of my money in lenses. My walk-around is a Canon EF-S 10-22mm wide angle.
