Hi Reg: Though I usually stick to a pure vegetarian diet, I occasionally have some seafood as there are places where I just find it impossible to eat otherwise. So I tasted a piece of this octopus. I was surprised by how meaty it was. I’m sure I’ve had octopus before, years ago, probably in sushi. But I don’t remember it being this firm and meaty. It was interesting.
Definitely looks interesting! I’ve had calamari/squid before, but I don’t think I’ve ever eaten octopus. Considering I’ve eaten guinea pig, I would certainly try this!

I love octopus, especially in curry – it’s a Seychellois speciality
Seychelles – now that’s a word that conjures up romantic images. I’d love to go there someday, though I’ll pass on the octopus.

Well, not your everyday cooking ingredient is it! Does it taste any different from regular octopus?
