He also gets paid, I think, but not a lot. He rates them. (I'm UK based, not sure if it's applicable.) Also, I fancy getting a TEFL cert and going somewhere where people are super keen to learn English. Not groundbreaking, but something. I too think that when I travel again, I want to help out somehow. Putting something you're good at to use is the best way, I think, so I'd try to help by teaching English or writing to raise awareness.
